Enzed Hobart Franchisees, Anita Furjanic & Anthony Bonnitcha recently recognised 2 of their employees for achieving 10 years of service, with a morning tea and plaque presentation.
Ben Barrow joined as a qualified mechanic and memorably completed his 2 week Induction by missing Father’s Day whilst in Wodonga. This was a sign to come of his dedication to the role of Hose Doctor. Some memorable jobs have been making hoses on a floating barge with an excavator collecting submerged Huon Pine Logs, repairing hoses from a crane on a new high-rise car park and spending a week making hoses on the army boat Swift.
John Short joined Enzed Hobart having already spent a few years within the Parker network. His enviable contacts have helped grow the business over the past 10 years in his role as salesperson. John doubles as a counter-hand and has made thousands of hoses at the Parker Store/Enzed Hobart. With a keen interest in collecting petrol bowsers and polishing things, our resident joker was recently tricked by one of our customers into searching a skip bin for an old Valvoline oil drum which was never in there.
10 years is a long time working for the same company and Enzed Hobart is really appreciative of the dedication both have shown to their roles and for being a pleasure to work with.
