TCM Quarries operates heavy machinery across two quarry sites in regional Victoria. With excavators, loaders and bulldozers constantly feeding crushers, keeping equipment running is critical to maintaining production.
When hydraulic equipment fails, downtime can become extremely costly. Trucks waiting to be loaded, stalled production lines, and tight delivery schedules mean that even a short delay can quickly escalate into a major operational issue.
As Ben Crockett, Manager at TCM Quarries explains, time is always working against them when equipment goes down.
“Time’s definitely money in our game. As quick as we can get it back on the road, the better off we are.”
With up to 10–12 trucks leaving the site daily, delays can quickly add up if machinery stops operating.
