Team ENZED FPR driver and ENZED Brand Ambassador Cameron Waters has announced the re-signing of ENZED for a further year on the back of his round win at the Sydney 500. The Dunlop V8 Supercar Development Series contender is looking at building on the platform he started this year to go all out for a championship win in 2015. Waters, who excelled in his first full year of V8 Supercar racing, finished second in the championship and secured his first ever round win at the Sydney 500.
ENZED’s extension of the agreement didn’t require too much convincing with Australia’s leading hose and fitting company wrapt with their first years' involvement.
The arrangement for 2015 remains identical with naming rights to the Ford Falcon V8 Supercar and Cam taking on brand ambassador duties throughout the year. The only change has come with Ford Performance Racing (FPR) now changing to become Prodrive Racing Australia (PRA).
His Team ENZED PRA entry will be prepared alongside Prodrive Racing’s dual Bathurst-winning main series program.
"We finished the year off as we started it, with genuine pace and front-running form,” Waters reflected.
“Claiming the championship runner-up spot was a fair reflection of the year, but next year we need to go one better with the Team ENZED PRA Ford and the team will be doing all they can to hit the ground running from the first race at the Clipsal 500.
Waters will also form part of PRA’s Endurance Cup line-up in 2015 where he will partner with one of the team’s regular drivers.
“To know I have one of the prized PRA co-driver seats already locked away creates even more motivation, and I'll be leaving nothing to chance heading into what will likely be the most critical year of my career thus far."
