Held at the Perth Motorplex, the ENZED World Series finale went down to the wire with Brook Tatnell claiming his ninth ENZED World Series Championship as former series leader, Dave Murcott relinquished his title hopes with a gut wrenching turn one crash with just five laps to go in the A main.
Dave Murcott was unfortunately a victim of someone else’s accident which resulted in steering damage and later ended his night as his steering failed, putting him into the wall.
Kerry Madsen was unchallenged for the lead throughout the A main and took out the race to achieve his fifth World Series round win, ahead of Farrell and Tatnell.
As the dust settled, the top three in the Series standings were as follows
1. Brook Tatnell
2. David Murcott
3. James McFadden.
ENZED would like to congratulate Champion Brook Tatnell and all of the competing teams and Speedway Australia team for a fantastic season of ENZED World Series Sprintcars
